If you have delayed an elective medical or surgical procedure because of COVID-19, it’s time to speak with your physician about resuming your normal care and procedures at Baptist.
Working with our partner physicians, we have designed and implemented the safest possible health care environments in preparation for your return to normal use of elective medical and surgical care at all our Baptist hospitals and Baptist Medical Group clinics.
We're taking special care to provide you with special care. Visit our Baptist Is Safe page to learn more about what we are doing to ensure the safety of all our patients, their families and our employees.
Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle is a 315-bed acute care hospital located in Columbus, Mississippi. It is the largest entity hospital in the Baptist Memorial Health Care system. It has been caring for residents of the East Mississippi and West Alabama area for more than 45 years. With more than 100 physicians and surgeons representing nearly every medical specialty, we provide a full range of comprehensive medical services. We strive to provide high-quality health care and emphasize patient safety. We are currently the only hospital in Mississippi and one of only 59 hospitals in the United States to have received a 'Straight A' grade for patient safety by The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit health care ratings organization, since the group began awarding the safety ratings in 2012. In 2014 Baptist Golden Triangle received the Hospital of the Year award (100 beds or more) from the Mississippi Nurses Association and in 2013 was the only hospital in Mississippi to receive the VHA Leadership for Clinical Excellence award for achieving national performance standards in clinical quality, safety and patient experience.
For the convenience of our patients and visitors, parking is located at the 5th Street Entrance on the west side of the building and in parking lots along Baptist Boulevard, on the east and south sides of our campus.
Chapel and Pastoral Care
Both of our chapels are always open, providing quiet places for prayer and meditation. One chapel is located on the first floor, just off of the lobby of the 5th Street building; the other is located on the first floor of the Patient Tower, across from the Gif Shop.
Chaplains offer pastoral care for patients and family members who request assistance with spiritual concerns. The Pastoral Care office is open from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Operated by our hospital Auxiliary, our gift shop is located in the lobby of the Patient Tower and is stocked with a variety of snacks, candy, flowers, green plants, personal items, balloons, stuffed animals, baby items, picture frames, candles, handbags, women's apparel, jewelry, seasonal gifts, gift baskets and much more. All proceeds from the gift shop are invested back into our hospital.
Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
